FIRST Tech Challenge

This is the second year that The Knights of Alloy has run teams in the FTC division. This year, we expanded this participation by creating a first-of-its-kind senior Robotics Technology credit (grade 11). This new course, running the entire school year was set to conclude in the spring with two teams participating in the Ontario FTC Championships. Interest in the course was high and participation lead to 75% of the students in the FTC course also joining the FRC Knights of Alloy in December of this year. We expect to expand this program with further courses and improved participation in both the FTC and FRC programs.
